Our cover this month comes from John Kovalic, creator of Dork Tower and all around nice guy.

Let me tell you a story about what happens around here. It just illustrates what we all go through to get an issue out for you each month. Sidra wanted a break from interviewing, so I assigned Jason Bourgeois a subject for an interview at the beginning of May. Jason didn’t email the subject until last week, and unsuprisingly, hasn’t heard back from them yet. OK, no interview... we have problems. Sidra starts cussing Jason and casting around for a subject she would like to interview, that she hasn’t interviewed. Luckily, she found in her email John Kovalic’s email address. She was thrilled, and emailed him. John, amazingly enough, emailed us right back and agreed to the interview, which he managed to do in 2 days time. John is a prince and a talented creator...all of you folks need to go out and buy Dork Tower now. You can read the interview in Coville's Clubhouse.

Sidra bought me a button at AggieCon that read "Another Deadline, Another Miracle." It was never so true as it was this month.

We have other nifty things for you this month. Chris Reid gives Paul Roberts a break from Reader's Bookshelf for a few months. It’s also Spiderman and Star Wars Central around here this month. Jason talks about the Spidey movie in Great X-pectations. Mat Bredfeldt tells us what Episode 2 action figures are hot in Toy Story. Sidra Roberts and Stephane Morrell both share their takes on both movies.
