Origin:	Father Perennias has no powers. He was brought up in a fairly strict Catholic household. He studied to become a psychiatrist and graduated from a prestigious medical school. He completed his boards, his internship and was licensed to practice psychiatry in the state of New York. He would have liked to become somewhat of a playboy. On September 10, 2001, he pulled a truly memorable bender and was unable to get out of bed to visit the World Trade Center with his family the next day. Both his parents and his kid sister died there. Unable to deal with this loss, he took additional religious training and entered a monastery. A devout Catholic, all of the fees he earns from his consultations go to the church.
Personality:	Father Perennias does not really like people very much. He has counseled so many troubled souls that he has begun to lose faith in his fellow man. He still has occasional bouts of "survivor's guilt."
