Welcome to the January 2001 edition of The Collector Times! What better way to start a new millennium than to look back on the past 100 years of comics? Joe Singleton does that with our front cover this month.
Lots of other good things in this issue to help you start the new century, too. Jamie Coville interviews Jim Valentino about being the Publisher at Image Comics and his work at ACTOR. Ultimate X Men must be good, because you can read both Jason Bourgeois and Mike Solko raving about it. Reviews galore this month, many with links, so you can check out what the reviewers are talking about. Sidra Roberts reviews Race Warrior, "Americas Racing Comic Book" and Halloween Man. AJ Reardon reviews Tandra: The Dragonrok Saga and Mike Solko reviews mini comics Late Night Coffee and Cigarettes and Lowjinx #2: Understanding the Horrible Truth About Reinventing Mini Comics. Not to be outdone, on the gaming front Chris Reid reviews the computer role playing game Earthdawn and the traditional role playing game Lost Worlds: Knights of the Dinner Table. Zack Roman reviews the computer game "American McGees Alice" in Console-tations. We even have a movie review of Cast Away I think youll enjoy. Everyone is at their funniest best this month, except me, so I think it bodes well for the new year. If you want to do something new for the new millennium, you can get on internet relay chat and talk with us, the writers and artists of The Collector Times. Our channel is #collectortimes, and we are located on Dalnet. We hope to see you there. Im also behind on my email again. Too much to do for the holidays. so please bear with me. Thanks! Happy New Year to you and yours from all of The Collector Times family!
